Meeting: 11:30 a.m., August 28, 2003

There will be an Executive Committee meeting at the Crown Plaza Restaurant, Clark, NJ (Exit 135 on the Garden State Parkway) at 11:30 on Thursday, August 28.

This will be a working lunch, courtesy of GSSPA. All members of GSSPA are invited.

Our discussion will include a follow-up to contacts for our Fall Student Press Day which will again be held at Rutgers University on Monday, Oct. 27.

However, the conference will not be at the Busch Campus, but will be at the Rutgers Student Center on the Main Campus.

Details will be sent to all members in a statewide mailing during the second week in September, so please mark your calendar for Oct. 27 at Rutgers, New Brunswick.

Also at the meeting, we will cover our summer contests, plans for regional workshops, broadcast journalism, and initial discussions for a summer program for students in 2004.

I hope you can make our meeting. No one is required to commit oneself to a task, but we would like many of our members to come and contribute their input into our plans and programs, as well as enjoy a delicious lunch.
