In the past I realized that the most difficult part of writing a story is always trying to put all the information you have into something other people would enjoy reading. I would always sit at my computer and draw a blank when I already thought about how I exactly wanted the story to sound. In my next story I intend to write about either distractions in school or student homework load. I feel these are good topics as they cover ideas that our school community cares about. To make my story exceptional I plan to use what I learned from writing my other stories and also the advice in this post to make my story more interesting. The pieces of advice that will help me the most will definitely be "spend the time" and "show, don't tell".
